ExpenseIT tracks shared expenses among two or more people, such as roomates or couples who share a household. Each person pays bills, buys groceries, or pays for other shared expenses however they want. They must save the receipt, bill stub, or some other record of each expense. You then enter each receipt in ExpenseIT, specifying the total, who paid for it, and who should be charged. ExpenseIT maintains a running total of who owes who how much, and lets you settle up at any time, print records, and continue the tally.

ExpenseIT is particularly good at expensing receipts that include both personal and shared items; you can charge some items on the receipt to one person, some to another, and split the remainder.
