Building on the success of version 8.5, the latest release of EdgeCAM
software from Pathtrace Engineering Systems once again targets productivity
improvements. EdgeCAM 8.75 delivers dramatically faster processing by
reducing CNC code generation time by up to 30 percent.
At the same time, users will be able to take advantage of the wide range of
features and functionalities introduced in EdgeCAM 8.5, such as trochoidal
moves in the Roughing cycle.
The Trochoidal milling approach offers the user a range of benefits:
By minimising changes in the cutting direction the cycle achieves high and
constant feed rates, leading to faster material removal. The other key
benefit is a considerably extended tool life, achieved by avoiding excessive
